The North Boulder Armory has a rich history which began over 60 years ago. The site was used by the Colorado National Guard as a training facility and storage depot for many years. When it was built, most of North Boulder was undeveloped and primarily agricultural land.
The growth of Boulder has been significant over the last 60 years. North Boulder has undergone tremendous change, including the area immediately surrounding the Armory. In 2015, the Colorado National Guard relocated the company formerly assigned to the Armory and fully vacated the property.
We purchased the property from the State of Colorado in May of this year. We are finalizing the City of Boulder Site Review process and plan to break ground on a redevelopment of the property by the end of 2016. The redevelopment plan includes 182 apartments, 18 townhomes/rowhomes and 8,400 s.f. of commercial space. Check out the Site Review Plan for more details.
